First thoughts here
Welcome
Do people still hide in obscure little corners of the internet?
I do. At least I try to.
I'm a sucker for falling down nostalgiaholes and getting roped in to old fandoms I grew up thinking "way to deeply" about.
Think of books read in Canadian schools circa 1996-2011.
For me that was:
- A Series of Unfortunate Events
- Holes
- The Giver
- City of Ember
- The British Exceptionalism Series That Shall Not Be Named
- The Outsiders
- Rumblefish
- Of Mice and Men
- To Kill a Mockingbird
- The Catcher in the Rye
- The Hunger Games
And leading into my latest interest in old sci-fi such as:
- The Time Machine
- Time Machine Stops
- The Girl Who Was Plugged In
- 1984
Plus many more!
The Aim
Is to have an archive of everything my mind thinks up about a series, be it Book, TV/Movie, Video Games.
Because if we share our entertainment with kids, the need is that deep to make sure you overthink what new minds are shaped on.
Remember, if someone said "it's for kids, it's not that deep" to you, then here, you'll be bound to find a discussion of why it is.
Looking forward to revisiting these books, and other stories I've consumed over the decades <3
This page is constantly being updated as my archive of overthinking.
